Rebecca de Mornay

  Rebecca Jane Pearch, born on August 29, 1959, in New York)[a is an American actress. In 1983, she appeared in the role as Lana in Risky Business. This was her breakthrough film role. De Mornay's roles include The Slugger's Wife (1985) as well as The Runaway Train(1985), The Trip to Bountiful (85), Backdraft(91) and The hand that shakes the cage (1992).



 



 Other credits in films include The Three Musketeers (1993) The Three Musketeers (1993), Never Talk to Strangers (95), Identity (2003) and Lords of Dogtown. She was also in Wedding Crashers (both 2005) as well as Mother's Day (2010). On TV, she played in the role of Wendy Torrance in the miniseries adaptation of The Shining (1997), and as Dorothy Walker on Marvel's Jessica Jones (2015-19).
